tpay engine enables the collection of old inactive backdated bills, after successfully charging the current bill. Via tpay’s platform, last due bills are identified and and a charging trial takes place first for the 1st bill and if not charged, then the 2nd bill and the 3rd bill and so on. The maximum number of bills to be collected can be configured per service.

If an end user has run out of credit or doesn’t have enough credit to pay for a product or subscription, smart billing allows a % deduction of the subscription total price, either through a % of the total amount or fixed small amounts.

This feature is used to grant some bill/payment, for free for a certain period. After x number of bills, customer can be charged normally.

Retrials & reset billing

This feature is used, when a customer doesn’t have enough credit on the bill date. Several charging trials are done. Once a charging trial is successful, the bill payment date will change to the new charging date, to avoid double charging the customer.

Enabling DCB as a payment method for Huawei users when purchasing through Huawei AppGallery provided convenience while reaching out to unbanked users.

How it works

End users will select to subscribe to a digital service or make an online purchase.

End users will choose to pay for their purchases via Mobile number.

End users will enter their mobile number and select their mobile operator.

End users will enter a verification code, which they will get on their mobile number, to confirm their purchases.

Transactions are processed successfully, and the amount is either deducted from the End users’ balance or added to their monthly bill.
